QR Crab has three plans: Free, Premium and Pro. Every plan includes unlimited static codes (subject to fair use), all QR types, and full styling with colors, logos and frames. The paid plans add more trackable codes, more scans, deeper stats and extra features.
- Free: no cost, ever. 3 trackable codes, 1,000 tracked scans a month.
- Premium: $4.99 a month or $41.99 a year, 50 trackable codes, 25,000 tracked scans a month.
- Pro: $14.99 a month or $125.99 a year, 250 trackable codes, 250,000 tracked scans a month.

Static and trackable codes
A static code can't be changed after you make it and isn't tracked, and you can make as many as you like on any plan, within fair use (see below). A trackable code holds a short link, so you can change what it opens at any time and see every scan. Only trackable codes count toward your plan's limit. Monthly or yearly billing
Premium and Pro can be paid monthly or yearly. Yearly costs less: you save 30% on Premium and 30% on Pro compared with paying monthly for 12 months. You can switch between monthly and yearly later in the Billing section of your account; see How to upgrade, change or cancel your plan, and get a refund.

What happens when you reach a limit
Your codes never stop working because of a plan limit, and people who scan them never see ads.
- Trackable codes: once you've used all of them, you can't create another trackable code until you upgrade or delete one. Static codes are still unlimited.
- Tracked scans: codes keep working over the limit; extra scans just aren't counted until the next month starts.
- Form responses: rating and feedback forms stop taking responses at the limit and show a "try again later" message. Coupon claims count toward the same limit, and a coupon shows "Not available right now". A Google review page keeps its link to Google but stops collecting star ratings.
- Plan features: features your plan doesn't include are shown with a lock and a link to the plan that has them.
- Fair use: “unlimited” is meant for normal use by a person or business, so every plan has a few safety limits against automated or bulk abuse: up to 2,000 codes per account, and up to 60 new codes an hour and 300 a day (bulk creation: 10 batches an hour, 20 a day). Until you confirm your email, you can make up to 50 static codes that hold their content (Wi-Fi, text, contact card…).
Monthly counts start again on the first day of each month (UTC). To see where you stand, open the account menu (top right) → Account & billing: the meters show Trackable codes, Tracked scans this month and Form responses this month.

Common questions
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. Free costs nothing, has no time limit and doesn't ask for a card. You get unlimited static codes (subject to fair use) and 3 trackable codes.
Do static codes count toward my limit?
No. Static codes are unlimited on every plan, subject to fair use. Only trackable codes count toward the trackable code limit.
What happens if my codes get more scans than my plan includes?
Your codes keep working for everyone who scans them. Scans over the limit just aren't counted in your stats until the next month starts.
When do the monthly counts start again?
On the first day of each calendar month (UTC). Your Account & billing page shows the exact date under the usage meters.
Do the people who scan my codes see ads?
No. People who scan your codes never see ads, on any plan. The only difference on Free is a small “Made with QR Crab” badge on hosted pages.
